Dale Gray, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Dale Gray is a respected community ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience in comprehensive eye care, specializing in medical glaucoma management.

She earned her medical degree from Queen’s University and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gray is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, holds certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of eye conditions, with particular expertise in glaucoma care, diabetic retinopathy screening, and the prevention of vision loss. She is known for her patient-centered approach, combining advanced diagnostic tools with tailored treatment plans to preserve sight and promote long-term eye health.

Dr. Gray has made significant contributions to medical education, training residents and medical students at the University of Toronto and St. Michael’s Hospital. As Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for Ophthalmology, she received the Aikins Award for her leadership in course design and development. She has also served in executive and committee roles with both the University of Toronto and the Ontario Medical Association’s Section on Ophthalmology.

Now semi-retired, Dr. Gray continues to dedicate her expertise to patient care while maintaining her longstanding commitment to advancing ophthalmology through education and leadership.
