Dr. Nataly Pesin obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with honours from York University, graduating first class with distinction. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Ottawa and completed her Ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto. She received multiple academic and community awards throughout her training including the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Scholarship.
Dr. Pesin has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals in the areas of post-operative pain management, pediatric eye tumours, and medical diseases of the eye. She has presented her work at national and international medical conferences and continues to be active with her research interests.
She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a member of the Ontario medical association and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Dr. Pesin has an interest in comprehensive ophthalmological care of adults and children. She speaks Hebrew and Russian.
